Susie Alderton

Director of Product Governance

Susie joined Tutman in 2012 and has over 15 years compliance experience. She holds the IOC, Risk in Financial Services Certificate, IIA Certificate in Internal Audit & Business Risk and the Investment Advice Diploma.

Martin Bailey

Systems Development Manager

Martin joined Tutman in April 2012, having previously built up 20 years’ experience across different IT roles, mostly programming within the finance industry. He specialises in integrating disparate computer systems, importing and exporting data to the company’s other internal systems, and automating the supply of data to our business partners. Martin has also developed a number of in-house programs and intranet pages, and ensures that business-critical systems continue to run smoothly and securely. Now manages the team of three other Development staff. Has successfully managed several cross-departmental and also multi-company projects.

Ed Baynton Williams

Director of Client Services

Ed joined Tutman in 2004 and has experience in the oversight of third party service providers. His current role includes the management of fund launches, mergers and terminations, as well as client relationship management. Ed holds the Investment Operations Certificate and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Samantha Butlin

Director of Investment Manager Oversight

Sam provides an oversight monitoring function of all investment managers appointed on Tutman funds. A holder of the Investment Management Certificate and the Certificate in Climate Risk, Sam is also a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Miranda Chapple

Head of Legal

Miranda joined Tutman in 2013 and advises on third party agreements and fund documentation. Miranda trained at Lovell White Durrant (now Hogan Lovells Cadwalader), qualifying in 1995. She spent six months on secondment at 3i PLC, followed by five years’ experience as a corporate assistant. She then moved to the Corporate/Commercial department of Thomas Eggar LLP, where she became a partner in 2004.

Scott Cowan

Delegate Oversight Director

Scott Cowan is the Delegate Oversight Director (SMF3) at Tutman, leading the oversight teams responsible for monitoring and challenging outsourced service providers across the fund operating model. He is responsible for ensuring that delegated activities are delivered effectively, regulatory obligations are met, and investors receive good outcomes through robust governance and oversight frameworks.

Scott has extensive experience in fund and asset servicing operations, complemented by a strong track record in overseeing third-party administration and outsourced service provision. His expertise spans the investment funds industry, combining deep technical knowledge of financial products with a strong governance, risk, and control mindset. A qualified accountant, Scott is recognised for driving strategic change, enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening oversight frameworks, and delivering sustainable improvements across complex operating environments.

Harriet Deeble-Rogers

Group Head of Human Resources

Harriet has a degree in Psychology and Criminology, holds the CISI Introduction to Investment Foundation Qualification (Introduction to Securities and Investment), as well as the CIPD Level 5 in Human Resource Management. She enjoys a varied HR role and has a wide range of generalist experience spanning recruitment, employee relations, wellbeing, payroll and SM&CR. 

Matt Hoggarth

Chief Investment Officer

Matt is accountable for the integrity and effectiveness of Tutman’s investment oversight framework. He studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University and International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. He joined the firm in 2000 to enhance its data analytics and information architecture. His subsequent experience includes leading an investment research team, working as a fund manager, and collaborating with families and institutions to design, implement and oversee bespoke investment strategies. Matt is a CFA Charterholder, Chartered Fellow of CISI and a Member of the Society of Professional Economists.

Sue Hoggarth

Head of Private Office

Following her graduation from the University of Sussex, Sue joined the firm’s investment management team in 2009. In 2016 she moved to the Private Office and now heads the team providing bespoke investment services to high net worth individuals, family offices, charities and funds. Sue holds the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate. She is a Chartered Fellow of CISI and holds the Chartered Wealth Manager designation, having completed the CISI Level 7 Diploma in Wealth Management.

Laura Humphrey

Senior TA Oversight & CASS Specialist

Laura has worked for Tutman since 2012 moving into the CASS team in 2014. Her current role covers group entities and is responsible for ensuring all CASS key controls are completed on a daily basis. Laura offers technical CASS review of these entities including the oversight of third parties. Laura holds the level 3 Investment Operations Certificate.

Alex Johnstone

Director of Assessment of Value

As the Director of the Assessment of Value team, Alex is responsible for reviewing whether the payments out of scheme property set out in the prospectus are justified in the context of the overall value delivered to unitholders. A key facet of this is reviewing the performance of a scheme and providing a public statement on behalf of the company on the overall value received by investors.

Having Attended University at Strathclyde achieving both the undergraduate and postgraduate Masters in Economics, Management and Policy in 2012, Alex then started with the company in 2015 within the risk oversight team and progressing to manage that team. Following a brief period as a senior compliance office, Alex began focusing on the Assessment of Value process in January 2024 and is compliant in Retail Distribution Review (RDR) after completing the CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice (Securities) in September 2025.

Sara Kirdar

Head of Risk

Sara joined Tutman in 2021 and is responsible for the Group Risk Function. She has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from Portsmouth University and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School. Sara has over 15 years’ experience within the Risk Management world, in Credit, Liquidity, Market and Operational Risk, and has worked with Global Banking institutions such as Citigroup, Rabobank and UBS.

Teodora Lajeva

Director of Compliance

Teo Lajeva is the Director of Compliance, responsible for ensuring regulations are integrated into daily operations in a proportionate and effective manner. She brings more than 10 years of industry expertise and has a proven record of restructuring teams from an entity-based focus to group functions, securing positive regulator engagements, and driving remediation work to completion. Known for her collaborative spirit and ability to demystify legal jargon, Teo combines a pragmatic implementation style with a Master’s in Law to deliver clear, actionable compliance strategies.

Lawrence Ladbrook

Head of Relationship Management

Lawrence is Head of Relationship Management, leading the team responsible for strategic and commercial relationships with Sponsors and Investment Managers. He has extensive experience in building and developing high-performing Client Service and Relationship Management teams, creating strong client partnerships and delivering long-term value.

With more than 35 years in the Financial Services industry, Lawrence began his career in Fund Administration before moving into client-facing leadership roles, including positions within the depositary sector. Over the past 25 years, he has specialised in helping clients achieve their strategic objectives, fostering trusted relationships, and supporting sustainable business growth. His extensive industry experience is complemented by a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and change, enabling him to guide clients through an evolving financial services landscape.

Sharon Lee

Associate Director, Head of CASS and Transfer Agency Oversight and CASS Assurance

Sharon has over 36 years of Operational Management Experience in Financial Services with over 15 years in Senior Management CASS Oversight roles and 10 years in Occupational Pensions. She is an Certified Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the Investment Operations Certificate. Sharon joined Tutman in 2017 to head up CASS and Transfer Agency Oversight and is certified For CASS Oversight by the FCA. She also maintains Third party and Banking and Custody relationship Management for the group.

Ciaran Lyttle

Head of Fund Accounting

Ciaran Lyttle is a senior leader within Tutman Fund Solutions Limited, with over 20 years’ experience in financial services. As Head of Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting & Taxation, Ciaran combines strong technical accounting expertise with a broad understanding of the operational and regulatory demands of the fund industry.

A qualified accountant, Ciaran has built his career around delivering high standards of financial reporting, governance, and client service, while leading teams and supporting the continued development of effective and efficient fund administration solutions.

With extensive industry experience and a pragmatic, commercially focused approach, Ciaran is committed to building strong teams, maintaining financial integrity, and delivering trusted outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Ewan Mackintosh

Head of Pricing & Valuations

Ewan Mackintosh is Head of Pricing & Valuations, leading teams responsible for the timely capture and oversight of transactional data used to accurately value more than 150 funds, with assets under management of approximately £11 billion. The department also drives a programme of technical and operational enhancements to support efficiency, control, and service delivery.

Ewan has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services. During this time, he has led a range of fund administration functions supporting UK and offshore funds on behalf of leading investment managers, including abrdn, Aegon Asset Management, Janus Henderson Investors, and Old Mutual.

He began his career with Standard Life before moving to Citi and later BNP Paribas, where he established a strong track record of client service excellence, operational leadership, and high-performing team management.

Lesley McColl

Head of Investor Services

Lesley McColl is Head of Investor Services at Tutman Fund Solutions Limited, a role she has held for the past two years.  With over 25 years of experience in financial services, she leads the delivery of our investor services operations, ensuring investors receive the highest standards of support and service.

Lesley joined Tutman Fund Solution Limited in 2007, initially working in Investment Back Office before moving into Fund Administration in 2010 and subsequently building 16 years of expertise within the Transfer Agency team. Prior to joining Tutman, she spent five years at Barclays Wealth in the CREST and Unit Trust Settlement teams.

Lesley is recognised for her extensive knowledge of fund administration, investor services and client money, as well as her commitment to fostering an open, respectful environment where colleagues can develop their careers.

Marie Measures

Chief Technology Officer

Marie has over three decades of experience as a technology professional, with two decades in senior leadership roles across regulated financial services, with particular depth in fund administration and asset servicing.

Marie was most recently Chief Digital Information Officer and Senior Managing Director at Apex Group, a global fund administrator managing over $3.7 trillion in assets under administration across 90+ jurisdictions. As a member of the Executive Committee, she oversaw global Technology, Data/AI, Information Security and Transformation/Integration functions, leading the technical integration of 40+ acquisitions.

Prior to Apex, Marie was Chief Technology Officer at Sanne Group plc and before that Chief Information Officer at Coventry Building Society, the UK’s second largest building society. Across these roles she led major technology transformation programmes and strengthened operational resilience, working closely with boards and regulators throughout.

Marie also brings board level governance experience, attending Group and entity boards as well as Audit and Risk Committees at Apex Group and Sanne Group, and as a Board Director for Apex Technology Holdings. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Information Systems from Nottingham Trent University.

Stephen Mugford

Finance Director

Stephen is a qualified chartered accountant with over 25 years’ experience and is responsible both for the Group Finance function and for the control of client assets. Stephen graduated from Cambridge University in 1988 and then trained with Touche Ross, qualifying in 1991.

Richard Murray

Commercial Director.

Richard Murray is Chief Executive Officer of Tutman and joined the business in September 2026.

Prior to Tutman, Richard held senior leadership positions at Apex Group, where he most recently served as UK Country Head, having joined via Apex’s acquisition of Sanne Group. He brings over 25 years of experience in the fund and banking industries, including ACD/ManCo and fund administration across both private and public markets and a range of fund jurisdictions.

Before Apex and Sanne, Richard held senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, working across business development, product development, client relationship management and finance.

Richard qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.

Nicola Palios

Non-Executive Chairman

Having joined the Mourant Group in 1988, Nicola became Mourant’s youngest ever partner and went on to hold the position of Chief Executive from 2003 until the sale of the group companies in 2010. She now runs her own consultancy business offering a variety of services to the private equity industry, and holds a variety of Non-executive Directorships.

Glenn Palmer

Private Office Manager

Glenn is responsible for Private Office client relationships, investment oversight and governance. He brings more than 27 years of experience across wealth management, investment advisory, trading and operations, having worked with leading firms including Morgan Stanley, Barclays Wealth, Lehman Brothers and Oppenheimer. Glenn is a longstanding member of CISI and holds the CISI Level 6 Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management, together with the CISI Investment Advice Diploma in Financial Planning & Advice. He holds FCA and FINRA qualifications, reflecting extensive experience across both UK and US financial markets.

Steven Richards

Director of Private Office

Steven has over three decades of investment management industry experience, starting at the firm in 1995 with private client portfolio management and moving on to fund and model portfolio management. In 2019 he moved to Sanlam Investments to manage bespoke model portfolios for key IFA relationships, doubling assets under management in this area over three years, before taking the opportunity to move back to Tutman with responsibility for manager oversight in relation to performance, liquidity and also the assessment of value process. As Director of Private Office Steven now marries his knowledge and experience from across the business to meet the regulatory and client requirements of investment propositions. He is a Fellow of CISI and a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Jenny Shanley

Director of Funds Administration

Jenny Shanley is Director of Funds Administration, bringing over 25 years of financial services experience to the role. A qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), she combines deep technical expertise with a proven track record of effective leadership. In her current position, Jenny ensures strict regulatory compliance and drives operational efficiency across teams. Known for her strong stakeholder management skills, she excels at building trusted relationships with clients, regulators, and internal teams alike to deliver exceptional accuracy and strategic value.

Mark Sullivan

IT Systems Manager

Mark started a career in retail but soon moved to BT in the IT service support industry. After contractual work for British Airways, Royal Mail, Southern Water and Legal and General, Mark joined Thomas Eggar in 2001 and moved to Tutman in March 2012 as the IT Systems Manager.

David Tyerman

Non-Executive Director

David is the Managing Director of Tutman and has been with the company since 1996. David has over 30 years investment experience and is responsible for delivering the Collective Investment Scheme service. David graduated from Cardiff University and City University Business School, and trained at Société Générale Strauss Turnbull.

Helen Wilkins 

Relationship Manager

Helen has worked for the Tutman group since 1997.  Prior to joining Tutman in 2012 Helen worked as an Assistant Investment Manager for Thesis Asset Management Limited. Helen is responsible for the management of fund activity, including fund launches, terminations, transitions and mergers and changes to existing funds.  Helen also manages client relationships. Helen holds the Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Diploma and is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
