Regulation Monitoring and Reporting Assistant

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Regulation Monitoring and Reporting Assistant to join our Tutman Oversight team.
Job Description:
The focus of the role is to provide support to TUTMAN in monitoring the service outsourced to third parties, including fund administrators and investment advisers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing reports for accuracy ahead of filing
- Reviewing and assessing regulatory and/or prospectus breaches and incidents and liaising with Investment Managers, the Depositary and the Compliance team
- Reviewing and updating fund risk warnings for regulatory documentation
- Reviewing eligibility of assets, due diligence responses and pricing
- Attending and participating in the Investment & Fund Risk meetings and presenting to committees
The candidate will likely hold a Batchelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Economics and Finance or Banking and Finance, with a keen interest in investments and a willingness to study towards relevant professional qualifications. Previous experience and a general understanding of financial services is also highly desirable, either through direct and relevant work experience or exposure as part of their education (for example, being a member of the University Investment Society or work experience gained as part of an industrial placement).
Due to the nature of the role, the candidate will be comfortable investigating and solving problems, with strong attention to detail. They will be analytically minded, organised and methodical in their approach to work, with proven experience of meeting deadlines and working under pressure with competing priorities. They will be friendly, professional and confident in their approach and be able to communicate effectively with a variety of different people and levels of seniority across the business.
They will also be familiar and proficient in using all Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) as well as having proven excel knowledge and understanding to an intermediate level.
It will be a requirement for the successful candidate to complete satisfactory reference checks (including, but not limited to, a DBS check, financial checks and employment references).
